Volunteer
Volunteers are an essential part of the Winners Circle program and we would love to have you join us!
Goal Buddies
“Goal Buddies” are caring volunteers who visit classrooms twice a school quarter, to encourage students to pursue reading, math and citizenship goals. Goal Buddies act as the Winners Circle cheerleaders, supporting and motivating classrooms and students to do their best!
Two Goal Buddies are assigned to two classrooms for the full school year. All visits are scheduled at the beginning of the school year so volunteers know in advance when their visits will take place. Each classroom visit lasts about 30 minutes. They are also invited to Winners Circle celebrations to medal their students who have made their goals.
Corporate Teams who donate their time:
Captains
Each participating school has a dedicated adult who volunteers to host the Winners Circle quarterly celebrations and visit classrooms as requested by the school. These captains serve as positive role models, motivating students, teachers and parents.
Our captains openly share their personal journeys of overcoming challenges, setting goals and achieving success. These dedicated and inspirational role models are critical to the overall morale and ongoing success of those in the Winners Circle program!
